Post office people on facebook

Post by goggins69 »

I have enjoyed being a member of this group, regularly contributed, but now suddenly been removed. Can anyone tell me why. Carol McDougall the administrator doesn't reply to my messages.

Because it's served it's purpose,it got you lot voting yes for strike action.
There was an announcement on there from them at the time.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

Oh,do you mean this one...

I'm thinking of the other one,the one that was deleted.
So what you done then to be banned?

I am a member of the group in question but don't particularly want to be - someone added me for reasons unknown to me.

As far as I am concerned it's pretty low level gossip, run by some matriarch type figure who appears only occasionally, and seems to randomly delete people...

It's a very odd concept...

Near the top left of the group screen there is a little 'wheel' type thing.

Click that.

4th option down, 'Leave Group'.

Click that.

Ah yes, but I don't particularly don't want to be either, in fact I couldn't care less one way or the other...

I'm not really up on Facebook - it's a little tawdry for my tastes, but as I understand it, it is designated as a 'closed' group and can only be accessed by those invited by the person administering it - the 'matriarch' I mentioned above. It only has a membership of around 80, and of these only a small percentage actually post.

There's some 'bloke' on there who regularly insists on changing his identity, which is the most entertaining thing about it...

I too,was a member, who contributed quite regularly, and also found myself deleted.I enjoyed reading the banter, but also found it quite childish on times,so am not really bothered.
