Holiday list started in our office today for next year. 7 staff very happy so far. 4 to go then a whole office happy.

Lets hope the V.R list comes round for next year, all our staff will be over the moon then we can pick any holidays when we want to go.

Hi, I just work in post office for 3 weeks include training, I read in contract my annual leave is expired in march 2012. Question is, can I book annual leave in October 2011? I'm afraid to ask my manager as I'm new employees , but my collegues said I can take anytime. is anybody can help me? Thank you

You are entitled to annual leave, but it may not be as simple as your colleagues are making out. You will need to speak to your manager about when you take them, but it shouldn't be a problem as part of your manager's job is to manage annual leave in the office
