A guy was sacked at our depot.

But he easily won his appeal due to the incompetence of the dismissing manager.

There was a case where a postie fell foul of the attendance procedure because his dog died and he was off with grief and he won his case.http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article ... g-dog.html
Royal Mail managers.....about as popular as a t.urd in a swimming pool!

my stage warnings were given for 1st one due to sterss eg family problem stage 2 accident at work stage 3 accident at work. also i had a grievance in against the depot mgr and the mgrs who delt with the stage warnings were also involved in hearing the grievance so i think there motives were not entirely honourable if you get my drift....

You shouldn't have been given a warning for an accident at work.

I had several weeks of through a work incident Stage 1 wasn't issued.
I also had 3 weeks with stress caused by an inncident at work that could have been avoided if management had acted.
I have just had more time of with stress having taken out a grievance and am waiting my interview.

I think you have a good case if they do sack you take it further.

Proper procudere for an AOD is that it has to be investigated,if that hasn't happend then you've got them by the bollox.

it was investigated but the mgr who investigated it told lies and messed with my statement but i did not notice at the time as it was just 2 words n he wrote my statement out. i worked for cash-co n also the mgr came to his own conclusion on the matter.
