Over staffed and Bosa'd????
Why is it, if our office is over staffed by "72 hours" are we being bosa'd to work on our days off????? We have been given rules: no hours owed to us to be taken off on bank holidays or when there are other members off, six weeks notice if you want to take hours owed. I have noticed however that.....management have taken time off when the ABM is on holiday and someone has to come off the counter to cover......no extra hours done by management, they still have their days off....certain members of staff given time off at a few days notice. My god!!! surely whats sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander.....Oh no! silly me....do as you are told not what we do.

It is correct that full time colleagues can be flexed up with 6 weeks notice but it is the colleagues right to ask for their compensating day off when THEY want it, within 4 months of being flexed up, again giving the required 6 weeks notice to the BM. No mention in COSA of the BM being able to dictate when you take it back. Get on to your area rep and complain. Check out 4.1 in COSA.
