Hi,
I am very new in POL as Financial Specialist. i wonder if any one can please tell me when i will be entitled to transfer internally as i have plan to be transferred in Finance department. i am still on trial period in current role. and also what are the internal opportunity to be transferred in different department. thank you for your help.

I've moved this to the Post Office section. Hopefully, one of your Colleagues will be able to advise you, as the rules might be different from those in RM.

What Finance there are no other departments in a Crown Office.

Hi, thank you for your reply. when i said 'finance' i meant 'head office finance department' as i have been graduated from finance related subject. i am really keen to work in my study related areas. i wonder if any one knows what are the opportunities internally to move into different department outside POL. how would i search internal vacancy and the restrictions i might have in my current situations as i am very new in POL. thank you for your help.

You would be better off in a bank or building society I don't think there is any where to go in POL

Given the number of managers who have just left POL through "Voluntary" redundancy, and the not insignificant number of which were Finance related roles I would think the opportunities are thin on the ground and certainly almost none existent unless you are London or Chesterfield based.
Not meaning to be negative here, just realistic and you need to see/know the big picture in the organisation.
