Hi, apparently there has only ever been one member of staff that has been sacked by POL then reinstated at appeal. Can anyone tell me the name of the person? She was POL staff in Wales and didn't go back to work as far as I know. I want to look up the case as part of my law degree.
Thanks to anyone who can help

have you tried a search on the BAILII website - you may have to narrow the search but I find it quite useful for these sorts of enquiries. http://www.bailii.org/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;Wilcox wrote:Hi, apparently there has only ever been one member of staff that has been sacked by POL then reinstated at appeal. Thanks for your response but I still can't find her name. Surely she must be famous in PO and Union circles? The ONLY member of staff to be reinstated. She was definitley from a Welsh office, anyone know if it was Cardiff, please?
thanks
thanks

I think what you are asking for is personal information and that you shouldn't be asking for it.Wilcox wrote:Thanks for your response but I still can't find her name. I hope you don't find out the name - the person and case you are researching may not want to be researched.

Hi, I don't want her personal info just info about the case against the PO. Just the basics will do e.g. what did RMG terminate her employment for and what made them do a u turn? I only need her name to look that up as I can't find it without it, or at least I have been unable to so far.gusco wrote:I think what you are asking for is personal information and that you shouldn't be asking for it.Wilcox wrote:Thanks for your response but I still can't find her name. Defintley don't want to upset the individual as I presume she went through an enormous amount of stress at the time. I am hoping RMG at least allowed her access to the Employee Support system throughout the poor woman's ordeal.
