my missing mail.

Post by bitchface »

my better half and i have banked with first direct telephone banking for about 20 years.my wife works for the local sub post office in somerton /somerset and gets paid weekly by cheque..being telephone banking we have to sebd the cheque by post to leeds.never ever has a cheque gone missing until the begining of this month.she puts the cheque straight into the mail sack at the post office, from there its collected by myself and my mates to go to bristol.

as i say beginning of the month we waited for a week and it never arrived.the post mistress had to cancel the cheque and write another(incurring a cost)
the next week she sent it recorded.got there.this week sent recorded and its gone missing..
tracking says it cannot identify where it is.....pathetic

i think we can all guess that royal mail has lost it but how?is somebody nicking them or is it more likely that somewhere in the line a revision has been done and thinks are so cocked up that its either being mis delivered..(difficult to see as pre paid printed envolopes)or dumped ..

thoughts my friends?

If we make First Class mail consistently more unreliable, do you think that over time more people will use Special Delivery, a far more profitable product?
