Phantom shares

Post by PO1 »

Does anyone know anything about the "phantom shares" we've been getting dividends on?

We should have got another issue of "phantom shares" in June 2009 but they never arrived and according to the glosy booklet issued in 2007 we're supposed to be able to cash half of them in next year (if we're still here :Very Happy ). Maybe Leighton and Crozier done one with them :chuckle when they scarpered.

I'm with others on here in the belief that next year or so they'll be massive closures/conversions. What was once a proud SERVICE has been destroyed by trying to turn it into something that it never was or could be! Thanks for waiting, in the words of Jim Royle "MY ARSE!"

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

Thanks for the thread Postman, but the thing that concerns me is the information picked up from another thread to do with the colleague shares

It seems that the third issue of shares we were due to receive in 2009 on the Royal Mail side has been converted into a cash payment that went towards the £1000 transformation bonus payments currently underway!

The number of shares that would have been issued is unknown but may have been similiar to the second issue ie 300 ish. This information was provided by the ColleagueShare team (from whichever cupboard they're hiding in :chuckle )

If that's the case what the fook has happened to our supposed share issue from 2009 with the approx value of £450? :hmmmm

That letter only relates to the agreement between RML and the CWU.

The point is that these so called Colleague shares were issued to everyone in the Royal Mail Group and everyone should get the same allocation. So if some sort of a deal has been done with Royal Mail employees for the issue they were due to get last year what's happened to the issue that should have come our way in POL?
