Posting lots of letters and proving it

I am about to send many letters (more then 100) and would like a reciept of doing just that (sending them) Whilst usually I would simply ask the local post office to write me out an indivdual recepit, I do not have the heart to ask for 100+ individual receipts to be written out-that's if they even would anyway!

Can anyone tell me a way you can send off this amount of letters, and be able to prove that you have sent them off?

If you know the people who run the local post office I am sure that if you write or type out the addresses on one or two pieces of A4 they will stamp and initial that for you as proof of posting.
If they won't do that then each official certificate of posting (available for free) has room for ten addresses. You would have to write them all individually but it would meet your need and keep it all official for the postmaster.
Please note that you do not need to write the full address for each item; simply the house name or number and the postcode is sufficient.

You can obtain a certificate of posting card from any PO, as already advised they take 10 entries, number and postcode will do, fill in these cards yourself and then hand them in with the letters concerned to a PO branch for checking and receipting of the COP's.
Job done.
