The last LTB stated that there would be a meeting to discuss pay on May 7th.
We need a deal before a new government is formed so that we don't get a pay freeze. POL has increased its profits by 50% in the last six months and the price of petrol has risen by 27% in the last year. We deserve a decent pay rise.

Also, cash centre staff are being underpaid. Postal Assistants get £315 a week whereas Single Operational Grades get £348.51. The risks and responsibilities that come from working with cash should be reflected in our pay. Securicor's penny pinching attitude to its workers contributed to its Tonbridge centre being turned over. The staff there could have all lost their lives. Cash centre staff should be fairly paid.
