Following a series of meetings last week and early this week between Dave Ward (DGSP) and Andy Furey (Assistant Secretary), and Alan Cook MD POL, Debbie Moore HR Director POL and Tony McCarthy Royal Mail Group HR Director a negotiators pay agreement has been concluded for our Crown Office members.
The agreement will be placed before the Union’s Postal Executive on Wednesday 21st November for endorsement.
The following joint statement has been agreed.
We are pleased to tell you that the Post Office Ltd and CWU negotiating teams have reached an agreement in relation to Crown colleagues pay.
The agreement is comprehensive; it covers all the issues that have been in dispute and builds on the 'Guide to Your Pay' document that was communicated recently.
At this stage we are unable to share all the details with you as the agreement is due to be discussed at the CWU's Postal Executive next Wednesday, 21 November. If the negotiators agreement is signed off by the Postal Executive, it will be subject to a ballot of Union members.
Further details will be provided next week. In the meantime we wish to thank you for your patience during this difficult period.
Yours sincerely
Alan Cook. Andy Furey
MD POL Assistant Secretary CWU
A National Briefing has now been arranged for Thursday 22nd November, in Manchester, to explain the agreement and to give Representatives the opportunity to discuss the details.
Further details will be made available in due course.
