Come on mate. You're talking to someone who doesn't believe anything he hasn't read in The Courier.

After reading this thread all the way through [ as Laurel and Hardy would say] from 'soup to nuts' or in this case from 'why don't we? to spamalot', I need a brisk lie down!! I commend all who have contributed to this discussion [ well, almost all ] and hope that I offend no-one when I say that the most eloquent and appropriate comment belongs to BELIAL- You're right mate, the guy is a pregnant goldfish!! GO on Google it!!!! :funneh :nana

I have no need to Google it. I am already aware of what that phrase means.

Now trot along you silly black and white thing that stands in a field.

Does everyone on this forum have the mentality of a Primary School kid or have I just created a magnet for fools on this Thread.

Anyway, should there be anyone with the balls to answer my questions then please do. As for the others i.e. the RM workers, that I clearly asked not to reply please save your wit and comedy for your walk in the rain tomorrow

I feel so ashamed!

Armani is obviously a product of a superior education. I would imagine he spent many lonely hours alone in his room studying hard to get an NVQ in "How to make Friends and Influence People" grade 1. Guess what he will be buying himself for christmas? "On Leadership: Practical Wisdom from People Who Know" - hardback edition by Alan Leighton.

Sigh................my hero.

WHO THE FECK ARE YOU armani??? YOU COME ON ERE GIVING IT THE LARGE.. TELLING EVERYONE WHO CAN AND WHO CANT RESPOND TO YOU LIKE A GOD GIVEN GURU AND PERSONAL CENSOR OF THE SITE... Then tell people NOT TO BE PERSONAL.. Then tell Baglady That she is a (QUOTE) (" SILLY BLACK N WHITE THING THAT STANDS IN A FIELD." (UNQUOTE) Now this is not only discusting and rude and very personal after BAGLADY Took the time to read thru all the posts and had her say... Then you....... With very little personal skills of conversing, then you are disrespecing EVERYBODY ON HERE....

Now ive done the very same as BAGLADY... And now i will have my say...

1)YOU WILL GET ANYBODY COMMENTING ON YOU AND YOUR POST... WELCOME TO THE REAL WORLD SONNY...
2) NO!!!! YOU SHOW RESPECT TO EVERYONE AS WE ARE SUPPOSED TO....
3) YOU HAVE A STANCE THAT YOU UNDERSTAND WILL WHINED PEOPLE UP ON HERE AND SO GO ABOUT TO BE A ARROGANT PISS TAKER...
4)YOU AINT GOT A GOD GIVEN RIGHT TO GET YOUR QUESTIONS ANSWERED LIKE ITS A "ALL LISTEN TO ARMARNI WEBSITE."
5) WHEN SOMEBODY ASKS YOU A QUESTION YOUR VERY ELUSIVE AND IN MY OPINION BULLSHITE, JUST LIKE A SCREW/MANAGER.
6)YOU SAY YOU ARE A CWU MEMBER.. AND YOU WENT OUT ON STRIKE..?. SO THEN EVEN IF YOU OR ANY OTHER CWU MEMBER VOTES AGAINST THE MAJORITY.. THEN IF THEY DONT BACK THE DEMOCRATIC MAJORTY THEN THEY SHOULD BE A HUMAN WITH MORALS AND A BACKBONE AND COME OUT OF THE UNION IF THEY DONT BACK US.... OR YOU JUST BECOME A PARASITE....
7)FOR YOUR COMMENTS ITS IRONIC THAT YOU ACCUSE ALL ON HERE OF BEING... ie Primary school kid. magnet for fools on this thread. And if anyone WHO ONLY WORKS FOR POSTOFFICE COUNTERS CAN REPLY.. I think you Armarni should go and start a site just for

" IGNORANT ARSEHOLES THAT SPOUT ROYAL MAIL PROPAGANDA AND DONT MIND STICKING THERE HEAD IN THE SAND AND SLAGGING ANYONE WITH A OUNCE OF MORALS AND DECENCY WHO WILL STAND UP FOR BETTER PAY AND FAIR TREATMENTS FOR ALL...."

That site would suit you down to the ground.... as you say... "i didnt ask for certain people who do certain jobs to comment..". YOU CAN BE KING OF ALL THE KNOB JOCKEYS THAT STARE OUT BLANKLY FROM BEHIND A GLASS REINFORCED SO THE PUBLIC CAN GET AT THEM.... WE POSTIES WHO FACE THE PUBLIC FACE TO FACE DEAL WITH REAL LIFE NOT A PATRONISING BULLSHITE OF YOU AND YOURS.... I shouldnt single out ANY CWU member but this turd should be chucked out of the CWU!!! SORRY PEOPLE BUT THIS IS HOW I FEEL...

OUT

NEVER LET THE SCREWS BITCHES AND THE BASTARDS GRIND US DOWN!!!

ps BAGLADY... You have more class in your little finger than this parasite has in his whole family....

armani wrote:Hi folks, why can't we get on with our jobs, i.e. what they are now. Surpassing business objectives giving customers a good deal on products previously not available at a P.O. counter and saving the future of the business and future staff to come?

Can we have honest answers as to what holds us back please.

is it, confidence, capability, not wanting to do that type of job, lack of manager support (have you asked for it)

Lets all face it, CHANGE is a massive part for any industry these days although a thing almost everyone must go through to be successful.

What holds us back from embracing change and moving on within the business.

Yes I know its gone with the days of cashing benefits, and getting queues under 5mins to make our clients happy.

So why cant we stand on our own feet and grasp what we are now moving towards?
I've already answered but i'll say a bit more.
I've already mentioned the moral in the business,i'm presuming you are one of the smith 70 or maybe one of the limbo 15.
So your colleagues/staff know what is happening to them, are you seriously now asking for them to bust a gut for the business.
The ones who are taking evr won't give a f**k and the ones moving into Smiths, their moral would be rock bottom.
I'm at a loss of what else to say.

Oh in your 2nd post you said this, which i've just noticed,i must be seriously slipping as i'm not sure how i missed that wank comment.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

That's very diplomatic of you. He hasn't been ahead since he first hit his keyboard on Friday night.
