No, I believe that only staff in post when the deal goes through get the money, anyone who has left before will not get anything.

We do have a Post Office Counters manager on here somewhere I am sure he will spot your question and post a reply. But might be worth starting a new thread in "Post Office Forum" - In fact I'll do it for you.
It is my belief that all CSA grades get a rise of sorts, it is quite a complex deal, and the details posted before don't give the exact rise for each grade. The blurb that has come out to offices has more detail on what each CSA grade will get.

I do not feel the pay deal is any different to what was offered many moons ago, its the same money but over three years. The most annoying part is to get the largest payout for the loss of saturday premium you have to work up to April 09. I would much rather leave the business altogether but these little carrots keep you hanging on .

Whether you think the deals good bad or indifferent, it's not the same money.

Originally, it was £2.5k lump sum for POs, immediate cessation of Sat Premium, and an indefinite pay freeze (POL were saying a min of 2 yrs but refused to give any guarantees). This offer keeps Sat Prem for 2 yrs, then gives a 3.5x buyout, it has 2x£1k lump sums, and a 3% pay rise in April, which works out as a rise of £555pa (£1110 over the 2 years).

On average, you're talking over £6.5k.

On top of that, theres a 35hr week, which ups the hourly rate of pay for overtime, and also the value of saturday premium and a 6.7% increase in the value of pensionable pay from April 09.

If anyone wants to leave, so be it, but why should they get a buyout for an allowance that they're not actually going to lose? All that would do is give those who are staying - the ones actually affected - less of a buyout
