Bosses Defend Royal Mail (from Oxford Mail)

Quote "I would like to reassure you we have done everything we can over the last 18 months to engage with the CWU on the future of Royal Mail, and to ensure that they properly understand the commercial realities we now face in an open and increasingly competitive market. The strike action has been damaging to our business and our customers."

I am getting sick and tired of reading quotes like this as I am sure most of this Forum are. We fully "understand the commercial realities " IT`S THE FACT THAT Big Al & C do not understand `Posties` THAT WORRIES ME.

and we are trying to make L&C understand our own realities of trying to pay bills and put food on the table when everything costs more and they want to pay us less.
