RESIDENTS in Warrington left waiting days for post have been told Royal Mail is 'working hard' to solve the problem.
A number of residents have reported delays of up to a week in receiving post.
One Walton resident said: "We have received no mail for a week now and have been told by various employees of Royal Mail that we may be waiting some time before they resume.
"Frankly, this is totally unacceptable and something needs to be immediately sorted out by the management."
A Royal Mail spokesperson said: “In some areas in Warrington, we are experiencing some disruption to service due to sickness absence and resourcing issues which we are addressing as quickly as possible.
"We aim to deliver to all addresses we have mail for, six days a week.
"If resourcing issues, associated self-isolation and safety measures prevent this, we’ll deliver at least every other day.
"We apologise to customers for any inconvenience they may experience as we work hard to resolve the situation.”

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
