Pay Offer to Unite/CMA for Junior and Middle Managers
We are pleased to confirm details of the pay offer made to Unite/CMA for junior and middle managers in both Royal Mail Group and Parcelforce Worldwide.
The offer is a 2.9% increase in basic pay and any corresponding flow through to overtime and allowances. The deal is for one year with the next pay award due in September 2022.
In line with our recent transformation agreement, this pay deal further recognises the importance our managers play in the future of Royal Mail Group and Parcelforce. Both Royal Mail and Unite/CMA are committed to continuing to work together in the future.
The specific details of the offer are:
All grades in Royal Mail Group and Parcelforce
2.9% basic pay increase from 1 September 2021 (backdated) with flow through for all overtime, allowances and regional pay (London and defined area elements of salary will increase by 2.9% for all eligible managers on incremental grades).
Broadband Managers in Royal Mail Group
From 1 September 2021 (backdated) a review pot of 2.9% for broadband managers and equivalent.
HRS Managers in Royal Mail Group
From 1 September 2021 (backdated) a pot of 2.9% for HRS managers in grades including the element to be allocated for performance related increases, which is to be confirmed.
Both parties recognise that this offer reflects the challenging and competitive nature of our industry as well as the contribution our managers make to our performance.
We thank Unite/CMA for their constructive and engaged approach to this negotiation and we look forward to receiving confirmation of a positive ballot outcome in time to meet our November payroll.
