Ledbury residents expecting sensistive mail have been advised to contact the senders if it does not arrive.
A day's post for Victoria Road and Albert Road was stolen between 6.30am and 7.30am on Tuesday, February 6.
Royal Mail operates a delivery system in the area whereby pouches of mail are left at drop-off points, such as businesses, post offices and modified pillar-boxes, for collection by postmen.

Company spokesman Jane Thomas said the stolen mail was taken from one of the drop-off points on Victoria Road.
The red and yellow Royal Mail bag is thought to have contained around 100 letters.
"Since this has happened all our drop-off points have been reviewed and they are all locked from now on," she said. "Around 100 letters were taken, but fortunately Tuesday is not one of our busier days."
Police spokesman Neil Tipton said: "It is better to be safe and I think if anyone has any concerns about their post it would be wise for them to contact the sender to tell them it hasn't arrived."

Shirley Goodchild, of independent consumer watchdog Postwatch, said drop-off points were becoming more common as postal staff were having to carry more mail.
She said all locations were assessed for security, considering whether the bags were easily visible or accessible to the public, and whether the area was prone to criminal acts.
"The safe drop should be reviewed annually to make sure it remains appropriate," she said.
"Postwatch is satisfied that these guidelines are sensible, however we are concerned that delivery managers are not always following them properly."
Police are keen to recover the bag and its contents and want to hear from anyone who may have seen them discarded in the area, or noticed anyone carrying a mailbag who was not identifiable as postal staff.
Anyone with information should call the Hereford Burglary Investigation Unit on 08457 444888 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
