Margaret Thatcher would be proud.

Of course it has. They can tolerate so-called disenters like Skinner, Bevan, Lansbury, the young Tony Benn, not so Red Ken because they'll always be outnumbered by middle-class people like Blair, Cripps, Gaitskell, Atlee, etc, etc.Spartacus wrote:Never has been a party of or for the working man,it's always maintained privilege and patronage.
All the Labour Party is, is a means of channelling the aspirations of the workers down a nice Parliamentary cul-de-sac rather than allow the feeling of the workers to boil over into revolution where some real change might be effected.
Come on Billy Hayes, stop funding these war mongering, ward shutting, school closing, fascist supporting, big business loving stooges of the ruling class!

I think this industrial action would be dealt with a bit differently if the BNP were in power kinmad. Fascists have never been too keen on workers standing up for themselveskinmad4it wrote:I've yet to find any party that I agree with. A cross between the BNP and Greenpeace would be close. Odd I know, but I never said I was normal.

That's why they're trying to set up their own scab union. I doubt there will be much of a spirit of international brotherhood in that lot.Steven wrote:I think this industrial action would be dealt with a bit differently if the BNP were in power kinmad. He would do! He's a landowner in Wales. But you do have to wonder at the mentality of anyone who throws live ammunition onto a camp fire. Anyway, the latest news is 'Solidarity' have already split.Steven wrote:I hear they have 3 members nowIWW Fellow Worker wrote:That's why they're trying to set up their own scab union. Stalin certainly wasn't up for speaking out or speaking against him. Nor was Mao Ze-Dong. His figures make Hitler look like a part time genocidal maniac. Which he obviously wasn't of course. Depending on which sources to look into he killed almost 80 million people
