Save Heanor post office

Heanor has very recently lost it's sorting office, with post office management turning a deaf ear to staff and public protests. the site was up for sale well within the 6 week consultation period, so it was obvious they'd already made their mind up and weren't going to budge for anyone.
Under the 'access criteria' in the post office closure review, it seems almost certain that we will lose one or more post offices in the town. In view of the mockery RMG made of the last consultation process, a campaign has already started to ensure the main post office is kept open. the online petition is at http://petitions.pm.gov.uk/HeanorPostOffice

so is that the end of the sorting office strike? we took a collection in our DO a couple of weeks back but haven't heard anything since from the union.
