Forget a public debate, The Union need to Challenge Mr Leighton and Mr Crozier to a LIVE Royal Mail TV Debate, At least the New plazma screens will have something on them that the members (staff) want to see. The Money that we dont have !!!!!!! that has been spent on buying and installing these TVs could form the basis of the second debate after the PAY issues have been discussed.

We hear it at WTLL and we see it in their newsletters every other day " We have tried to talk to the Union, but they just dont want to listen"
well if Mr Leighton and co are serious about talking, and talking sense I mean, then Im sure our National Officers, or the Pay negotiating team would accomodate them on the big silver screen.

If youve got yer cronies watchin the site Mr Leighton.................Take heed.

re: Send him an email direct with your request

Post by F0zziebear »

Why not email him directly. ask.allan@royalmail.com He says he reads of the emails and responds to them personally within 24 hours. Leighton is not adversed to having live debates and talking the talk. Why not get him down to your D.O for a work time listening & learning session. It was him who came up with the idea from his time at ASDA.

Just keep badgering him for this request until he does it. These people are not something you can't touch. I used to work on the same floor as them after working in Ops. I assumed they were distant people who as it were sat on their throne all day.

Although nearly all in my office will votr yes, the majority of those would prefere a work to rule rather than strike action.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

Just wondering if the CWU sent the ballot papers via TNT/UK Mail or DHL? I could get them a better price
