What makes me laugh with all the bickering on here is when the new owner comes in he has only guaranteed he will leave stuff alone because of an agreement with the Government and the CWU. Once the length of the agreement is over probably 3-5 years all bets are off. Look at Denmark the first to get rid of delivering letters at the end of 2025. Other Countries/companies will follow that model(more profit). Royal Mail will be a Parcel Company in 5 Years time maybe longer with Union fighting a losing cause. The World is going Digital.

You really do have to wonder about the minority of posters on here who consistently champion what has been/is happening at RM. Makes me think it's just blatant propaganda.
Reminds me of absolute bullshit corporate lies.

Check out the last 2 polls on here about CWU/job satisfaction. Then have a look at the comments defending the 15% non negative votes.
People will vote more and more, and have been voting with their feet by leaving this terrible job.
RM must be the worst Sunday paid job in the country lol. Most workplaces pay at least 1/4 time on a Saturday, usually 1/2 time and double time on a Sunday.
