He could just trim his bush. I’d be mortified to have myself in the paper because of the state of my garden. Just make a path through the jungle. It’s not hard.

I now carry a pair of secateurs & do a bit of pruning while I’m out & about

Crikey, that`s decent. One on my walk is wildly overgrown with lots of brambles. A detached bungalow that is almost swamped with greenery. Think I`ll be taking seccys from now on.

It's probably illegal to cut someone's brambles etc. whilst on their property without their permission. Can't do a favour now without getting into trouble if the homeowner has a fragile state of mind and would sue rather than be grateful!
