First I must say sorry, I may be thick, why would big companies go to tnt etc when if we are on strike they will still not get their post delivered as we are the only one that does the last mile (on my duty is actually about 8 miles) sorry big al perhaps i am not the one that is thick.

Apparently a few companies are offering something like our prios but they are going to be expensive.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

When Crozier joined Royal Mail Leighton sent him to a D.O. somewhere (I no not) to understand what it's like to be a postman. Try walking the streets with a bag on your back every working day after day, month after month, year after year knowing that that's what your going to be doing for the rest of your life and then tell everyone you're underworked and overpaid!
