So 1st class letters make up a small % of overall letter volume? Does anyone know the %?
DSA is 70% of business mail. Of the remainder, let's say an even split of 15%. In terms of cards, something like 90% seem to have opted for a cheaper 2C stamp.

30% call rate on a 600 DP duty = 180 doors of which only 15% have a 1C item = 27 drops.
The machine stops.

But it's not that simple, is it..?.. That's what the computer says, but in reality, it's not the truth nor accurate. We're delivering mail to say numbers 1-9 then a gap to 45 (thus missing a culdesac of houses (oh no we're not, as low and behold we've got a tracked for No 23 (right in the corner of said culdesac) And that's presuming we're delivering only :cuppa 1 days mail. Something I've not done since last Xmas (23). Happy New Year.

If they intend to still offer them it's going to mean a lot of 'cold calling' with them especially on the week when a duty only gets two full deliveries
