Yeah another shitty idea badly thought out, they’re everywhere in my mc…somehow a load of loose ones were in the priority service locker the other night.

wonder which poor sod will slip and break something?

Picked 2 up today from a Safeplace.
No issues.
Took them back to the DO - no spillages, no breakages.

Why does everything have to signal the end of the world for some of you?
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

They're small sealed plastic bags, obviously hardly weigh anything, they get left on the customers doorstep so you don't even need to knock on the door, as clash says it really isn't an issue as far as collection on delivery is concerned.

I think the issue for many of us is - we are currently (since the crazy revisions) failing massively every single day, often with mail and packets piling up for days on end. So how on earth have we got time for something else on top? It is nuts.

Apparently the bags are bursting open in the parcel sorting machines and are causing chaos.
Yep had one burst open when I collected it - the seal is one of those sort of ridge seals that you have to press together all the way
along (like some sandwich/freezer bags) and come apart if it's pulled - it's not a sticky seal. Back of the wagon stunk of coffee!

Tell me about it, I've got a firm that regularly uses that service, after a couple of times of having coffee pissing out of the bags in the back of the van I now take some large redirection/damaged item bags to put them in.

Oh yeah and don't you just love it how they leave them outside even when it's raining so you can't stick the f***ing labels on arrgh

No one should take them if they aren’t packed properly/wet or damaged :cuppa
