Yes because ofcom cannot now fine or impose sanctions on RM now they've claimed that the USO needs a review. All these big companies and government are corrupt to their very core. All working together to scam and cheat money from anywhere they can.

I sense the only public debate is around why RM are not compling with the existing USO, not debating on how it could be reduced? What's the point in setting a regulatory framework until 2027 then reviewing it again within a few months?

It seems all those rumours about Saturday mail deliveries stopping later this year may well have been more or less correct.

Postal workers are a pawn in this sea of sharks. Corruption is rife and no matter what your view is from the past industrial action, we were never winning. I would even expect the decisions coming over the next few months were decided by these sharks before even strike action.

The USO has been deliberately run down over a sustained period so that Royal Mail can create the environment for this debate to take place.

The solutions the company will profer causally predate the problem. They're playing out a crisis management simulation in real life because manufacturing the crisis allows them to retain control in order to direct the situation toward their preferred outcome. Textbook stuff. They were about to start this in early 2020 before a real crisis out of their control occurred instead.

You can bet your house that once they give up on deliveries on a Saturday, then it will be Tuesday and then Monday etc etc and then before you know it there is no postal service. Be careful what you wish for.

EXACTLY. I don't get WTF the union thinks you're doing out there. I've fell out with my postie because he's always running or speed marching/yomping and he's no spring chicken. I've asked him a couple of times to slow down because he's sweating like crazy and looks pure white. He ain't going to see any pension. . I hope I'm wrong.
