Royal Mail is turning neighbourhoods into 'postal deserts' as households claim they only get deliveries once a fortnight

To me it’s clear. 1st class letter next day delivery at 93% is no longer achievable. This is because of fall in number of letters means that posties are going to doors with only one letter compared to triple the amount 10 years ago, it’s not profitable. Royal Mail will have to make the unpopular decision to only send first and second class post and letters out every other day. This means a change in the way posties work with one postie covering 2 walks alternate days. Get the walk size back to what they were 5 years ago, all specials and tracked 24 to go out on both walks. Guarantee a delivery of ALL first class mail within 2 days at 96%.
