Do people still not get that there are 2 Apps!? One is Workplace which I don’t use and the other is the People App. It’s quite simple. If you don’t want to go on Workplace then simply don’t click on it!!Barnacle wrote: ↑13 Dec 2022, 22:27You could delete the app but then you won’t be able to access your payslips or holiday allowance etc. It’s annoying that you can’t just remove WorkFace.Dorset Plodder wrote: ↑13 Dec 2022, 20:31Can you not delete the RM App? Never had it, but I assume you've got to intially download it? Sounds like a poisioned chalice to me, but I know what these "App Addicts" are like.![]()
Me I'm just "App..athetic"!![]()
But they’ve stopped many from accessing it anyway earlier today: they’ve added an ‘accept these terms’ page and the link doesn’t work on certain devices. So some are blocked such as myself![]()

Re: Royal Mail bosses slammed for using staff website to condemn posties for striking
People who have a real issue with social media use, would prefer to have the ability to remove access to WorkFace from the RM app so that they can continue using the app without the constant temptation of WorkFace sitting there.
Do people still not get that there are 2 Apps!? One is Workplace which I don’t use and the other is the People App. It’s quite simple. If you don’t want to go on Workplace then simply don’t click on it!!
So it isn’t that they are thick, they just don’t want to see the thing on an app they use.

Delete it people you can live without it.
Hindsights great but you really should have assumed that ST wasn't really going to give you anything that was for YOUR Benefit. This App is being used to gaslight Posties and feed them BS ..... don't let them into your Private Life ..... leave them behind at work!

It is 2 apps, yes 2 apps.
You clicked on a link to download the people app, and you clicked on another link to download the Workplace app.
You can delete the people app if you wish, you can also delete the Workplace app, and you can delete 99% of the apps on your phone apart from the built in ones.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Why do people assume everyone is using the same devices etc.? Workplace is integrated with the People App. You can’t just delete Workplace without losing the whole app. Some might have it separately but not everyone does.POSTMAN wrote: ↑16 Dec 2022, 09:24It is 2 apps, yes 2 apps.

WorkFace is not a separate app on my phone, if it was, I would simply delete it. As it is, it is part of the People App.SpacePhoenix wrote: ↑16 Dec 2022, 11:37Just about all smart phones use either Android or iOS (or whatever the Apple version of Android is called)

Wankspace was a tab on the People App the last time I used the People App, but there was no requirement to tap it and use it!
