How about using bicycles on delivery and instead of using loads of Van's.Mail could be put in pouch boxes for postmen to collect on their rounds.

Good green initiative. I`m told it was done in ye olden days, but we now live in a "someone will bring it to me" culture and the volume and size of crap that we are required to "bring" to customers negates that surely? If anything, we need LARGER vans if we are going to van share. (and clear the office).
