Pilot offices
Wee chat with area rep this morning
Pilot offices not one has made any savings
35 offices so far have cost RM £900,000
And we are just about to enter busy season
RM exec shitting themselves as they promised EP group 300 mill savings
3in 4 odm is dead as far as cwu concerned bit RM still trying to push their nonsense agendas to save their own jobs

Re: Pilot offices
Maybe they should have had the sense to test their assumptions in the pilots before they started trying to bully OFCOM in to agreeing their agenda
Fingers crossed EP will have a cull of the deadwood before long

Re: Pilot offices
Just heard that the coaches in my office have a USO meeting tomorrow.
Think they're forcing through the 4 into 3 system.
Complete silence from the CWU.
So think area managers are just forcing it through.
Which is a shame cause the new proposed ODM sounds better than the 4 into 3 one.

Re: Pilot offices
There isn’t silence from the CWU on this. It is not going in. That’s it. Any method based on the pilot does not work and has been scrapped. No new method will be put in until we have voted on it.buchanpeter wrote: ↑15 Sep 2025, 10:43Just heard that the coaches in my office have a USO meeting tomorrow.

TBF the CWU have been very quiet the last while have they not? I seem to remember Dingo being awfully vocal on here until recently.Barnacle wrote: ↑15 Sep 2025, 15:17There isn’t silence from the CWU on this. It is not going in. That’s it. No we don't have a local rep. We contact the area rep for any major issues.SkiSunday wrote: ↑15 Sep 2025, 15:07Are the WPCs all union reps at your DO?buchanpeter wrote: ↑15 Sep 2025, 10:43Just heard that the coaches in my office have a USO meeting tomorrow.

The WPC's have a meeting with the area managers tomorrow apparently.
So either they're pushing through the first ODM. (We just got our frames all coloured for it the past 2 weeks).
Or they're gonna brief the WPC's on the new ODM.

Re: Pilot offices
You really need a rep in your office. This stops managers using work coaches to bypass agreements nade with the union.buchanpeter wrote: ↑15 Sep 2025, 15:48No we don't have a local rep. Re: Pilot offices
You should be notifying your area rep about this. Look up who that is and email/phone them. If you get no response then go higher. Plus, the Area Rep should get the Rep position advertised up on a board and encourage people to apply. No office should be without a Rep.SkiSunday wrote: ↑15 Sep 2025, 16:27You should be notifying your area rep about this. Look up who that is and email/phone them. I think there are about 150 offices without a rep and the members in that office really need to rattle the cage of their Area Rep to get it sorted.

Re: Pilot offices
We've not heard a single word from the CWU since around the first week of Sept, in the meantime the company are pressing ahead colour coding sorting frames in various DO's and Im sure they are not doing that just to bring some brighter colours to DO's, they are also suggesting OT will be controlled by SISO from October, whilst remaining totally silent on equalising the new contract starters.Barnacle wrote: ↑15 Sep 2025, 15:17There isn’t silence from the CWU on this. Colour coding frames means nowt. Any new way of working has to be voted on by us. Vertical sorting is just their nonsense, who cares? Let them waste even more time and money on nonsense.
SISO for overtime has been on the cards since September last year. Don’t ghost. Those days are over.
Equalising contracts: they are negotiating with the company right now on all the issues outlined in the pay deal that you all voted for.
