anybody any idea what your supposed to do when u cant make ur 1pm specials, not happened to me yet, but as it gets busier out of summer , it will come down to probably not getting out the office till really late with the christmas rush, with an hour to do specials what are u supposed to do? any ideas

I posted one at least half an hour late today maybe a bit more. I just apologised for the delay, it's all down to if there is a complaint I guess.

What, only an hour to get specials delivered, so you're expecting to get out on delivery at 12 o'clock ?

correct, i dont start till 11am the now, so come christmas time not get out till 12 probably, so giving me an hour, whats the best thing to put on the pda? no answer, inaccessible? remember every office is different, some of us are start really late now, u must be in one of the lucky offices gets out early

Ask your manager and get it in writing .

ATM we don’t get out till about 11 come the busier time possibly later

Ask your manager and get it in writing .

Exactly. They resist putting anything in writing so you may have to force it. Text them the question. If they only reply verbally, send another text stating something like, ‘To confirm, doing . . . with the specials as instructed.’

We were briefed a few weeks ago that the 1pm Specials won't be 1pm target time anymore.

That was RM's realisation when adjusting the lorry times etc.

Since then, we haven't been updated any further.

I suppose it's not really an issue if your back in the office at 12:30 ?

if u scan inacessiable what do u tell the customer if they complained? maybe no answer could be better then get there i dont know

You have 2 options:

1. You tell your manager you won't be able to reach that address in time to fulfil the 1pm spec.
They then take it off you or tell you to deliver it after 1pm.

2. You get there before 1pm.

None of it involves fraudulent or incorrect scans which could possibly get you sacked or seriously annoy the customers.

We often have a few stray specials mixed in with the LATs. Not out fault just do them when you can.
