Annual leave and retiring in 2 weeks question
Hi folks I’m retiring end of 11th September and I have had 3 weeks holiday since April 24 . Im on a 32 hour contract over 4 days how do I work out what I owe or owed on the holiday hours as it’s so confusing as they want every minute accounted for which is fair enough but I just don’t want to get duped cheers for any help on this matter.

Re: Annual leave and retiring in 2 weeks question
Someone will know the correct working - but by the time you finish the annual leave year will be 5.5 months old.
Back of a stamp workings:
If you get 4 weeks leave a year you've used up three quarters of your entitlement in a just under half of the year.
If you get 6 weeks leave a year you've used up half of your entitlement in just under a half of the year.
I'm pretty sure you're entitled to the full public holiday entitlement (8 days) on 4 days of working, but again you'll have had
just over half a years entitlement (Easter x 2, May x 2, August) in just under half of the year.
You're possibly going to end up owing....don't know how RM sort that out - do RM take money off you?
You don't mention if you purchase leave, not sure what happens if you buy some of that leave. Someone will know.
I'd make sure you've got a printout/download of your leave status from the people app as it stands right now. I think your access to your
records is lost also immediately on your retirement.

Re: Annual leave and retiring in 2 weeks question
Thanks for all your replies , I will get a print out of my entitlement of leave and do the calculations and I’m thinking I might owe RM , but hey ho I’m now hopefully on holiday all the time depending on what the mrs wants me to do ie decorating the list grows longer etc etc
