Hello, I'm confused at what the new agreement is for ill health retirement, my manager mentioned it to me a few days ago as I'm currently on long term sick, am I right thinking it's now 16 weeks full pay, 12 weeks pay in lieu of notice that's taxable plus any outstanding leave?

Hi I think your right because that’s what I thought it was , I have my OH referral on Wednesday hoping it all goes well, if I do get it then I will let you know if nobody else replies before then

I just had ill health retirement in November and I received 16 weeks lump sum which wasn't taxed and 12 weeks PILON which is taxed. And any leave due is taxed. Hope this helps.

Yes it's 16 weeks plus 12 or 9 weeks depending on your length of service and any annual leave owed. Bank Holidays are not included.
