Annual leave
Being as flavour of the month is Royal Mail taking back annual leave ive a quick questions. I was on annual leave last week, so with the 2 bank holidays am I correct to think I should only have used 3 days annual leave (my rest day being Thursday all things being equal)?

Although it's not 'days' it's the hrs you work on wed/Fri/sat.chickenwittle wrote: ↑03 Jan 2023, 15:00That’s correct.heraldmoth wrote: ↑03 Jan 2023, 14:04Being as flavour of the month is Royal Mail taking back annual leave ive a quick questions. Re: Annual leave
If you are on a 5 day contract you should still only get deducted 4 days holiday for a bank holiday week it doesn't matter what day your rest day is?
Union what Union? Do we have a union?

Re: Annual leave
The PSP system used to be quirky. It would usually automatically sort leave out ok. Unless you were on leave and your day off fell on the bank holiday. If that happened then the manager/wages guy must put in a manual day off. You should only lose 4 days total for your week off on a BH week.

Re: Annual leave
Very much doubt it. I haven't lost any days from striking yet. Most likely just an RM screw up. He needs to speak to whoever in his office works out the holiday rota and get that day added back!SpacePhoenix wrote: ↑04 Jan 2023, 11:27the extra day might be what's been taken away for the adjustment due to all the strike days

Re: Annual leave
Booked my 6 wks leave to coincide with my weekends off - booked holidays, only to find out that our (unagreed) changes start Feb 27, with our rotating days changed ! Hoping the union rep can save things tmrw, sick to death of this damned job after 30 years.
