Just a couple of questions

If you come back off annual leave half way through the week do you still get a day off? So say I came back on Wednesday, could I still take my day off which is Friday?

Also I’m on 9 day fortnight. What if my five days is within the annual leave I take? I didn’t realise this when I booked.
Because we are making a bit of time up each day for the five days off it will be for nothing when I am taking annual leave. Meaning I am working extra minutes each day for five days off but I am already off on annual leave.

Leave only applies to days that you're due in at work so yes you'd get your day off as you were only on leave Monday/Tuesday or whatever days it was.

I don't think the other matter applies as leave is done in hours now so whatever days you take as leave would be deducted from your total accordingly so if you took leave on the shorter days then a lower amount would be taken off your total.
(I think that makes sense to me)

Still am baffled and cannot get around how Royal Mail pay annual leave in hours of attendance?

The formula to be used is 5.6 weeks as you all have contracted hours.

Paying in hours is for an irregular variable-hours employee, such as a zero-hour contract

What if the five days that we get off every four weeks coincides with annual leave? I’m off on annual leave in two weeks but also off for my five day long weekend in two weeks. So the hours I’m making up to get my five days will have been for nothing as I’m off anyway.

What hours would you actually have worked that week - not your days off?

You will only use the amount of hours from your annual leave balance that you would actually have been working.

It's been in hours ever since RM moved over to using PSP for payroll

But you have contracted weekly hours over set days of attendance. That does not change with longs and shorts
