Paid to SISO won't be confined to just delivery, it'll be all types of office right across the business. In a MC you'll get shifts arguing when the previous shift has had a day when they've done all their work early and they start doing the work of the next shift, which might mean that they then finish their work early.yellowbelly wrote: ↑10 Aug 2025, 08:38And paid to SISO will be in delivery.SpacePhoenix wrote: ↑09 Aug 2025, 20:09I think within 5 years at the absolute tops, all allowances and supplements will be gone for everyone, no matter what type of office they work in, probably paid breaks will also go.

Will be interesting when they make distribution go onto siso . As most are making an hour to hour half a day as the drivers are carving up the job . Can see this getting a bit messy soon within the drivers side . MC will eventually track when and how many times you go to toilet etc . Not sure how they would track deliveries side

How can distribution drivers carve the job up? Wouldn't Tacho record if they were speeding or not taking their breaks. If they're abiding by all the rules, completing their work but still finish before their contracted hours then that's a management issue.Dano boy wrote: ↑10 Aug 2025, 12:45Will be interesting when they make distribution go onto siso . PDA big brother has been watching deliveries for a few years now. It's just that management can't do much with the data apart from have a quiet word - at the moment.

Must disagree on that.
If management has previously brought an issue to your attention such as speeding, missed track scans etc then it is open season if you continue.
As far as i am aware they can still utilise the
Counseling, coaching, and conduct procedure

Which is probably a factor in wanting to switch them from 4 nights to 5. Have heard similar from our mail centre drivers, drivers making too much time and management wanting to switch them all onto 5 night per week duties from 4 nights per week.

Flogging a dead horse in some areas by not giving the opgs a 4 dayer . Especially in this day n age of shift rotation and ridiculous start times or mid week days off . Absolutely no wonder the retention is the worst for any such company out there . You can see why the angard are happy as they are if they have other jobs . They earn more and get better life balance by working around their "sociable" jobs they have already
