Hearing the old USO change is being pushed in Scotland.
Heard from a RM lorry driver that Banchory has already started the USO.
The old 4 into 3 model.
Hearing area managers are pushing my manager to start the USO change by October.
Can anyone else confirm this is happening?
Cause the newer ODM model sounds better.
Union said they're not supposed to be doing this without an agreement.

Everyone needs to wait for any official news, not from lorry drivers et al ffs.

The only thing that I’m seeing is taking first class out on any loops that you don’t take, nothing else has changed.

The crazy thing about all this is we have been leaving anything up to two whole walks of mail and some non tracked as a pairing, depending on how busy it is, for the last 5 or 6 years now.

I'm not sure how delivery can be fixed, other than recruiting about 50 or 60 more full time posties at my DO, as opposed to cutting front line jobs for the so called ODM. :arrrghhh

The question to ask is why the CWU adopt three wise monkeys with the workload you have to take out?

Tracked parcels and packets have gone through the roof yet the deliveries still remain optimised.

The duties are just too damned big to complete in duty time so how is this new delivery method even possible?
