The cwu doesn’t exist anymore they are barely a middleman between a business who doesn’t give a stuff and to be honest frontline staff who don’t give a stuff anymore. Mail payed for to be delivered..not being delivered. D2Ds being payed for to be delivered….being dumped more often than not cos new starts don’t get payed for them.
Vans unfit to drive and not being repaired….so really who does a proper van check because not are fit to drive you just decide whether you take one out or not. It’s actually not bad money tho if you go in with a devil may care attitude

Only a stooge would say we don’t get payed for them, we get 25 quid a week for doing D2Ds whether your unit has any or not. Another load of union spiel to pretend it’s not a 2 tier workforce. it’s a delivery supplement to supplement doing extra deliveries (D2Ds).

We all get paid to deliver them it's part of our job.

We get a delivery supplement for working in delivery, not for delivering d2ds. The newer contracts don’t get this supplement.

The supplement was agreed in lieu of getting paid for individual D2D contracts. Royal Mail obviously hoped to stuff us with 5 or 6 every week, whereas in reality it’s more like 1 on average. New contracts are also in delivery explain if you will how they don’t qualify for this “delivery” supplement

The supplement replaced the old D2D payment ffs. what you’re saying is the supplement is for doing a job (delivery) which you applied to do, why would you need a supplement for doing your job????
