How long does it take to find out if you have been granted family friendly hours? My office goes live next week with finishing times changing to after 4pm, I put in my request as soon as I found out and am still waiting for any info to if it's been granted or not, I need to be able to pick my daughter up from school, unfortunately our union rep is like a ghost haven't seen any sign of her since she got the job!

Did you apply formally in writing? Have you had a look at the policy?

Got called to see him today and it was granted, it's weird we start the new hours and shift patterns on Monday but alot of the staff have no idea what's going on. There's not one poster up explaining anything.
