Sorting machines
Just a query from a position of ignorance, how well do the sorting machines operate at Coventry and Langley ? They must be a few years old now, do they break down much or have any issues ?

Issues or breakdowns compared to what? How long is a piece of string?

Re: Sorting machines
OK, how about “compared to expectation” ? Or anything you like, car / washing machine / lawnmower ! If it’s not working when it s’poseda be, outside of the regular maintenance periods - does that happen more than one would expect ? Or are they considered to be a reliable asset ?

Re: Sorting machines
Yes they break down, or yes, they’re reliable ?

Re: Sorting machines
So they can be relied upon to break down ?

Re: Sorting machines
Define "break down". You haven't set any parameters yet for overall reliability or suggested any viable comparisons, so your original query is so vague as to be meaningless.
