Excuse the text-Video above if you want to watch it.
The national Hub is integral to the parcel Force operation. Especially at Peak is the heartbeat of our Network led by brilliant inspiring positive team that can always be trusted to deliver even in the most testing circumstances parcel forces. Number one priority at Peak is people no different from year round.
People's safety people's Parcels people's long-term job security as it's typically our most profitable period of the year, it's always a huge team effort over Peak. This year. I'm also than ever due to Industrial action for this year's Peak operation. We've been planning. We've already had the two IA and the AP plan and so we have to have a unique situation with I8. So we've got to see plan that into our forecast with the
actual fluctuations of forecasting throughout the operation. We've also to ensure that we've fully support the night operation to ensure they had to success as they did the Hopper's operating really well with managed to get everything in and back out all of it on time. I don't find it too stressful to be fair.
Everyone's needed to be working one of the team and when you come in now on like from before night shift to work needs to be all the shop floor nice and clear. It's yeah, obviously the workload over Christmas tends to be a higher volume than what it would be join the rest of the year obviously have you up and downs and peak times and non-peak times, but the work the workload comes down faster comes through faster comes on to trailers faster.
So you you're working a lot hard and stuff, you know that's coming and prepare for it. Are managing people to make sure that don't do any Miss thoughts.
So make sure they load Apostles and so under we send all the trailers on time as well, but pulls through about 100 or 120,000 Parcels in a day shifts. Now on the busy time. I think the way that everyone has pulled together during the join the Christmas period as made it a lot easier for our customers to actually deliver everything for them.
I think the biggest achievement we've had on this site issues the team ethic between the day and night shift. I think we've worked in unison together. Obviously the day shift is more the setup operation for nature, but we still have a job to do and also I think that one of the other successes more importantly is the health and safety of the operatives and the reduced accidents Etc in the hub
non operational managers effectively been doing two jobs whilst they've been supporting in the operation, but that's also served to bring operations and Commercial closer together. It's been great to see the teamwork on display. It's not just non-ops though. The reality is the dispute has put a lot of strain on everybody and I think people have coped admirably in a very trying and trouble set of circumstances. I'm really grateful for the whole team's efforts to help ensure that we have
the best Peak possible. I wish everybody and their loved ones a happy Christmas.

RMCtv : Pulling together - Watch Parcelforce in full swing to deliver for customers this Christmas
I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
