Hospital and dental appointments
hi can anyone enlighten me on the procedure of hospital or dental appointments I have been told by management recently you either lose your sheduled attendance or stay out late to make up what you lost for the appointments

Would do but I work 7.30 -18.00 they are not open at beginning of shift and are closed at end of shift closed weekends

its in the union statement,and agreed with Parcelforce, that,,if you are contracted to work an 11 hour duty and you have hospital or dental appointments which cannot be attended outside your NORMAL working hours then your line manage must allow you SPECIAL LEAVE and not take a days holiday.Contact your union rep for clarification.
