Is anyone able to tell me if the post redirection service is free for RM employees and if so, how do I go about setting it up?

I asked at my local Post Office today, but they didn't know.

Ask your DOM to arrange it for you. I think you can have up to two years for free.
The views I express here are mine alone and do not represent the views of Royal Mail Group.

Why is it strange? You know nothing about my working pattern or shifts!

FYI, I was doing a collection from the PO at 5.15pm. Do you know any DO managers or line managers who are still around at that time?

Where do you take your collections to? If it's the MC could you not ask a manager there to do it?

Our collections are picked up by truck at about 5.30pm and taken to the MC.

I'm quite happy to ask my manager to do the necessary thank you.

I had two going at the same time due to moving twice in a short space of time.

You just need the names of those whose mail needs redirecting, paynumber and weather you have a dog if I remember. It's free and you need to speak to your lino. Free keepsafe if you go on holiday too.

Your manager needs to do it. Just needs your address info, names to include, date of birth and pay number I think. Initially it’s for a year but can renew for a second year. Within a year of it finishing I moved again and started another 2 year redirection for free.
Keep safe is just the same, just do it through your manager.

As far as I know it’s only for postmen and their family (I.e. those who live with you) if all moving together.
