Arrears of PSE?

So my payslip has ‘PSE Adj RMDCP 6%’ which I assume is my pension payment, but then it has ‘Arrears of PSE Adj RMDCP 6%’.
Why am I paying arrears? This has been going on for ages and I don’t really understand it

The first bit is what is taken from your regular pay each week for your pension

The second bit is the deduction from your overtime. As overtime is paid a week in arrears the deduction is taken arrears.

It stands for 'Pension Salary Exchange adjustment, Royal Mail Defined Contribution Plan, minimum rate'

some good reasons why you shouldn't opt out.
