Ok,it's a prepared statement but hey at least they replied.
Unsuprisingly they seemed to have forgotton that last bit.
Interested to know what your plans are regarding e2e deliverys.
What areas are you planning to do and how much business are you prepared
to take off of us.
Do you feel that eventually you will be able to cover the whole of the
UK with your e2e network.
What job opportunities will arise out of this.
This is a serious enquiry where i hope you can help me, my members and
my colleagues with.
Would you also be prepared to make a statement or have a question and
answer session with us on the message board,by e-mail,regarding the
whole mail business situation.

Dear..........
TNT Post UK maintains its ambition to develop an end to end strategy in
the UK so as to be able to offer customers a complete postal and
delivery solution. As part of this strategy, TNT Post is currently
looking at a number of potential locations in which it can develop an
end to end solution and hopes to provide further information on some of
these locations later in the year. The company intends to offer this
service to local businesses as well as big national mailers.
In recent months TNT Post has made positive steps towards this goal
through entry into the business to consumer parcel delivery industry
through the acquisition of the JD Williams courier network. The courier
network currently delivers some 12 million parcels per year to customers
throughout the whole of the UK. TNT Post will be looking to grow and
develop this network in 2007.
----------------
In order to ensure that there is fair competition in the market, it is
essential that any proposal from Royal Mail does not unfairly undermine
the deregulated market. TNT Post believes that Royal Mail's proposals to
introduce zonal pricing for bulk mailers would allow it to increase
prices for rural deliveries to subsidize lower prices in the cities
where competition is likely to emerge. This creates a major obstacle for
the development of effective competition from end to end networks.
Mailers will also suffer through lack of choice and will not benefit
from innovative, improved postal services. TNT Post along with other
market entrants is petitioning Postcomm to stop the introduction of
rural surcharges.
