My friend who works in the office has had enough of driving duties Like Firms and Secondary walks. He wants to get off them and do a walk by himself. but the DOM wont let him and basically puts him on one everyday. Loads of crashes - Seriously if it is stressing him out get him to see union rep and perhaps EHS. Might also be worth approaching his own GP with any stress symptoms and getting it down on his medical records. This is not official advice but just stuff I've picked up being on here.

STRESS OPTION?

Post by mdtomuk »

YES I WAS JUST KIDDING ABOUT THE SHORT CRIMINAL SHORTS - COZ I KNOW WHO IT IS.

THE STRESS, DEPRESSION OPTION IS ALWAYS WORTH EXPLORING - MOST PEOPLE DO NOT REALISE HOW BAD THEY ARE REACTING AND AN EXPLANATION OF EVERYTHING TO YOUR GP USUALLY DOES THE TRICK - AROUND 7 YEARS AGO IT WORKED FOR ME AND NOW I RECOGNISE AND DEAL WITH THE SYMPTOMS - AT THE MINUTE I FEEL GREAT, AND LOVE COMING TO WORK AND SEEING THE MESS BUILD UP! AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHHHAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!

Best way is get an appt and go see EHS..if one normally does a walk he might not be used to the driving and get sore back with the different manovers.. then DOM has to take it on board or one mite be of sick as a result and DOM not following doctors orders.

Im sure if you have 3 accidents in six months you are automaticly taken off driving duties, they dont have to be serious, just break a couple of lights and prang the wing...UNITY IS STRENGTH.
