Time locks/Controlled entry

Post by POSTMAN »

You guys got any of this s**t with your flats?
It's a nightmare down here,a lot of places have had new entry doors put on where you need a key fob(gold dust)to get in.
The council are setting the trade button time limits to cut off at 7-8ish in the morning.
Bearing in mind we're usually out no earlier than 9,it's like pissing in the wind.
And instead of having say a buzzer for each flat so you can buzz em quickly, they're set so they ring for about 10-15 seconds.
So then you wait then buzz again and then you wait............
Council won't change it for security reasons, and getting the key fobs is near on impossible, well so the manager has said,
might be summin to do with they're bout a tenner each  and we need s**t loads.
It's such a pain :mad

None on my walk, but if I do docket and I have to press a bell to get in, I ring once wait for answer. If I don't get an answer then I mark the bundle as "Rung no answer" and send it back. So far no come back.

We're told we have to ring every flat that has a letter, fair enough i suppose.
After 3 attempts,ie 3 days,we send the work back to sender.
It's happend quite a lot, still nothing done about it.
There's a big block of flats i've got to do over the weekend,i don't even bother,it get's done bout 2-3 times a week if they're lucky.
How they haven't complained is beyond me.
