What’s the future going forward for D2D leaflets in delivery will the business look at scrapping all D2D and focus on Parcels

As I mentioned a while back, roughly £200 per d2d for 600 delivery points

Easy money when they know they're not all being delivered.

£200 per £600 delivery points...

how is Royal Mail losing money. Some weeks we have 5 D2Ds, probably average 3 or 4 per week.

It's the same with parcels we seem around 25% up on last year but we're still apparently not profitable!

They are easy to process, no machine. 5 a week for 2 jobs pays both of your wages for 2 weeks

By easy to process, the customer gets them designed and printed, the customer sends them to the mail centre who send them to the delivery office, easy money

AI search:

Royal Mail leaflet drop (Door to Door) prices typically start around £60–£70 per 1,000 items for standard, lightweight items (under 20g)

In reality most D2D is actually DSA (usually either The Leaflet Company or Whistl) so prices will certainly be lower as will RM's margins.
The machine stops.

yeah, I'd be amazed if RM are being paid anything more than a few pennies per door especially for the big contracts, dominos etc.

For RM they are better off the more DSA is used rather than "traditional D2D" as DSA is machine sortable and so can be sequenced.
