Annual Leave - Notice period
Quick question, if anyone can help. I have booked annual leave coming up soon and thinking to shorten my 4 weeks notice period by giving notice two weeks before that starts. Sadly, I've had enough of the job or more specifically my duty and would prefer to only work 2 weeks notice before the start of the annual leave. I'm not expecting to paid for the leave obviously. My assumption is this would be ok but would rather not get a surprise if I'm wrong here. Thanks in advance...

Sounds like you're leaving very early into the new leave year so be careful that you don't get stung with getting paid for the leave and then latterly receiving an excess annual leave overpayment claim having but accrued enough leave to cover what you've taken.zabster wrote: ↑25 Mar 2026, 12:47Quick question, if anyone can help.
