The DRP has been superseded by the new talks chaired by the government - another 3 or so weeks to go.

Is that the march going up the hill, or when they march us back down again?

New 4 week talks with government involved agreed last week so assume the DRP talks that were due to end this month are superseded by them now. No mention of when the new 4 week talks start so guess it could be End of March/April until we hear anything.
Apparently it takes months on end of talks for Royal Mail to say “we want ODM and can’t afford equalisation” and the union to say back “we want heavy and light plus equalisation”.
Why this all takes so long is really beyond me. Maybe they are also being assigned peace talks around Russia/Ukraine on the side.

To answer your question, no it isn't. You would not instruct a solicitor and then simply accept silence from them. This is no different. Trade unions aren't a secret society. Members should be told everything that's being said in the room. The full time mob will be and they'll be told to keep it secret. A little power trip to justify their existence. Boot the lot out,

Getting the government involved with just over a week of the 4 week DRP to go seems like a last throw of the dice.
I thought we were all to be told the content of the 3 way meeting they had last week by the end of last week…

ODM = Oh Dear Me
DRP = Dave’s Respite Programme (for when Dave Ward is on holiday)
The day is gonna come when we’re all gonna have to testify.

Optimised delivery model - the 3 people doing 4 walks system

Dispute Resolution Process - when the union or the business have a matter they are in disagreement with they must give notice of going into 4 weeks of resolution talks before industrial action/executive action
If you tolerate this, then your paid break will be next
